  13. When using Rmail to read mail, my inbox file in /usr/local/spool/mail
  14. disappears after fetching mail from it. Is there a way to preserve the
  15. mail spooler even when empty, as the "keep" flag in .mailrc
  16. normally does? More generally, what use does Rmail make of
  17. .mailrc apart from getting mail address aliases? Are any of the
  18. settings relevant to Rmail?
