- I got a 1988 version of the Emacs manual from FSF and in the back it
- has an order form for more stuff. We have requirements on our project
- that we don't load any software on the system if we don't know where
- it's been. Well, on the order form in my manual it says I can get
- emacs on media for a Sun ($175) and for a VAX ($150). Is this still
- the case? Does anyone know what versions of the software you get?
- Can I expect to just load the software off the tape and run it (ie.
- no building process) as I did with emacs from the net on another
- project? Does FSF have an email address or phone number?
-
- I know, this might be a silly rule, but it is cheaper to pay the
- $325 then to argue the point.
