  14. This is probably a FAQ, but I haven't seen the answer thus far.

  16. I want to get cut and paste to and from the window system working, but so far I
  17. have been unable to get it working.  The functions that are supposed to do cut
  18. and paste do not work.  Does emacs have to be compiled with special options to
  19. get mouse cut and paste working?  Is compiling it with X not enough to do this?
