  16. problem?  If not, please do--so we can get it *fixed*.

  18. Users often treat bugs as immutable facts of nature; they talk about
  19. what bugs exist as if they just had to learn to live with them or
  20. avoid them.

  22. This is a mistake.  Emacs has maintainers.  Our mission is to fix
  23. bugs.  Your part is to report all bugs in a way that helps us fix
  24. them.  See the Emacs manual for how to do this effectively.

  26. I plan to make a new release of Emacs 18 in the next couple of months,
  27. and if you report a bug now, it can get fixed in the release.
