- Actually, there is quite a bit of interest in seeing support for incorporating
- pictures and graphics into texinfo source files. Questions about this come up
- all the time on newsgroups other than the gnu newsgroups/mailing lists, as
- well. Some support for incorporating pictures can be found for both TeX and
- LaTeX, though they can be a bit cumbersome to use sometimes. A nicely thought
- out implementation for texinfo would be most welcome.
-
- However, please don't wait until someone volunteers before you share your
- ideas on how this could be done in texinfo. A healthy design discussion might
- stimulate people to try out some of the ideas discussed. This may result in
- someone volunteering to donate their time to do it some time down the road.
-
- Another utility sorely missed is a tool which will diff two versions of a
- texinfo source file and automatically generate a third version containing the
- necessary instructions to print the updated version with change bars. (I have
- yet to find a decent way to do this in TeX and LaTeX, as well.)
