- I use X11R4 windows on a sparcstation under SunOS 4.1.1, and my
- emacs is that version which runs in its own window.
-
- I have a screen font which contains latin characters in their ascii
- positions, and, in addition, cyrillic characters in the upper 128
- cells, i.e., with the 8th bit = 1. Are there ways to prevent emacs
- from translating the non-ascii characters to their octal codes, and
- to display both latin and cyrillic simultaneously?
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Maxim Markevitch
