- I'm trying to create some shortcut keyboard macros and save them to my
- .emacs file. Creating them is no problem, but saving them is another thing.
-
- According to the online-help, insert-kbd-macro has an optional second
- argument KEYS non-nil, and this is a "prefix argument" when the
- command is called interactively.
-
- What's a prefix argument?
-
- Does that mean I hit the key that the macro is attached to before
- calling the macro name? Or do I input the name of the key (in this
- case "[Ou" [KP5]) before calling the macro name? Neither approach has
- been successful.
-
- Please e-mail.
-
- Thanx in advance,
