- There seems to be a common misunderstanding of the original author's
- intention. I think he meant Emacs should be able to "load" compressed
- files, which means executing Lips code contained in a file, as opposed
- to read a file into an Emacs buffer for editing.

- Has anyone implemented *loading* (as opposed to editing) compressed
- files yet? I'm not *too* eager to re-implement yet another wheel.
