  17. We are using the GUI builder UIM/X to create a Motif interface
  18. for our product.  There are many widget libraries available from 
  19. various sources that could be useful and UIM/X can be exetended to make use of 
  20. these widgets.
  21. However, each widget must have a cooresponding UIM/X shadow widget (swidget) that 
  22. tells UIM/X how it can be manipulated and what resources are available. Creating 
  23. these swidgets requires a significant amount of effort in some cases.

  25. It would be very nice if the corresonding
  26. swidget addaptations have already been developed for the widgets that are available.
  27. Has anyone done this? Are swidget libraries available (PD, shareware or commercial)?
  28. Do any of the distributors of UIM/X (or the HP version, Interface Architect) sell swidgets also?

  30. In particular we would be interested in swidgets for any table or matrix widgets
  31. such as those in the Xbae package.

  33. If you are using UIM/X and have or plan on extending it using other widgets please
  34. let me know.  If other existing sources are not identified it we may be able to 
  35. identify a set of widgets that several groups are interested in and divide up the work somehow.
