- I have just noticed that the X server that comes with hpux 8.0 does
- some strange keyboard mapping to some international keysyms when you
- use the meta key (Alt_L).

- For example if you run xev and press <Alt_L> and <x> you get the
- keysym "scaron". Most the keys when used with the <Alt_L> key will
- give strange keysyms.

- Does anybody knows if there is a config file or a flag somewhere that
- will tell the hpux X server not to use that strange keymap bindings.
- Some program like GNU emacs wants that server send for <ALT><KEY>
- the keysym for the <KEY> with the meta bit set.
