- Howdy! I just recently acquired a version of DesqView/X for my 386, and have
- seen a coupla demos of using X to interconnect different platforms, using that
- software package. I am currently contemplating hooking my PC into a Mac
- AppleTalk network in our dorm (of the home brew variety) and we were
- considering using the X-Window and TCPIP standards to do so. However, my buddy
- isn't sure about a version of X-Windows ported over to the Mac platform, and
- has doubts about the performance of one if it already exists. Just curious
- about that li'l tidbit... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
-
- Thanks.
