- I don't know if this will help, but you just do something like this.

- /usr/bin/X11/xsetroot -bitmap /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/granite

- You of course have to have the bitmap, but otherwise check out
- the manpage for xsetroot and all will become clear. If you don't
- have the bitmap itself, mail me and I will mail you a copy.
