- I am trying to compile X11R5 on a sun3 running 4.1.1. I am compiling
- with gcc-2.2.2 using gcc to compile the shared libraries. I had
- limited success. I ran into some load problems when I ran certain
- clients. The error was "Xt_Malloc was not found".
-
- I tried to work around that error by installing sun patch 100257-02.
- Now all I get is /usr/bin/ld dumping core after a segmentation fault.
- This happens on most clients, but not on any other section of the mit
- distribution.
-
- Now come the questions:
- 1) Has anyone seen this problem? Do you know how to fix it?
- 2) Is there another patch from sun to get the loader working?
-
- I would also appreciate where I could get a list of bug fixes for
- sun3s running 4.1.1.
