- #I'm a complete newby to X and just trying to get a c-source to run. It
- #compiles alright, finds all the right libraries, but crashes when
- #attempting to load a font. Source lines:
- #
- # font = XLoadFont(disp, "10x20\0"); /* If you don't have this
- # font, try replacing it with 9x15\0 */
- #
- #Upon reaching this call the program exits and tells me that the font
- #cannot be found.
- #The fonts reside in an unusual directory, namely
- #/usr3/X11R5/lib/X11/fonts/misc, I'm running ULTRIX4.1 on a DecStation
- #2100, and use the twm windows manager.

- What does the application "xlsfonts" show? If it doesn't list 10x20 as one
- of the fonts then it is not there and you must try some other font.
