- Hello world.
-
- My apologies if this is FAQ.
-
- One of my colleagues is looking for an X-Server for MS-DOS in order to
- use X-Windows over a LAN and has asked me to post this for him.
- Since X386 is available from MIT for free provided your platform is
- Unix, the ca. $400 pricetag for the commercial programs he's
- encountered seems a bit steep. Granted, most of these programs do more
- than act simply as a X-Server over ethernet, but is there a
- commercial/shareware/freeware alternative that's dirt cheap (<$100)
- that does what he wants? If not, what's the best he can do?
-
- Please send responses by email. I'll summarize if there's interest.
-
- Thanks in advance.
