  13. I have the feeling that this should be an easy question but I can't find the
  14. answer on my own so here goes.....

  16. My boss asked me if there is a way to put a "granite" pattern on his root
  17. window after login.  I thought I remembered seeing something about it at
  18. some point in the past so I said I would look into it.

  20. After going through Scheifler & Gettys, O'Reilley (Vols 1,2,4 & 5), the FAQs
  21. for comp.windows.x and comp.windows.x.motif and the vendor documentation we
  22. have on hand I still cannot find out how it is done.  It is not one of the
  23. options presented in the Motif window manager's 'Screen' options.

  25. BTW we have VMS 5.4 running X11R4.

  27. OK.  What do I do?  Where else do I look?  Or have I just overlooked something?
