  13. I need to learn about implementing a simple drawing program that uses
  14. a graphics tablet for input in the UNIX/X11 environment.  I have access to
  15. some people with X experience who can help me learn X but they are not 
  16. familiar with interfacing with tablets.

  18. Coming from a PC background, I am still trying to learn what the issues
  19. are.  For example, do drivers exist for common tablets such as the 
  20. Summagraphics MM series or is more specialized and less portable 
  21. hardware required?

  23. If you have some experiences doing this, good and/or bad, and any pointers
  24. to sample code, I would like to hear from you.  Please email to me and
