- I need to learn about implementing a simple drawing program that uses
- a graphics tablet for input in the UNIX/X11 environment. I have access to
- some people with X experience who can help me learn X but they are not
- familiar with interfacing with tablets.
-
- Coming from a PC background, I am still trying to learn what the issues
- are. For example, do drivers exist for common tablets such as the
- Summagraphics MM series or is more specialized and less portable
- hardware required?
-
- If you have some experiences doing this, good and/or bad, and any pointers
- to sample code, I would like to hear from you. Please email to me and
- I'll summarize to the net.
-
- Thanks, Dave Maffitt
