  10. We are currently developping *lots* of software with devguide3.0, most of
  11. which can not be distributed on the net as sources because it needs
  12. the devguide3.0-libraries to compile, in particular the DRAG'n'DROP and
  13. filebox-codes, which are provided in source together with devguide
  14. but protected by SUN, as I believed.

  16. However, a quick search showed that some public software packages include
  17. the devguide-source in their sources and distribute it freely. I wouldn't
  18. be surprised if SUN supports this as xview needs lots of support if it is
  19. really supposed to be able to compete with the widget sets...

  21. Can the source be distributed freely?
  22. If yes, why is it not a part of xview3?
