  16. I would like to make a public retraction and apology for my recent
  17. overly harsh postings.  These should have been sent directly to the
  18. recipient and not to the entire net, or better yet toned down a bit
  19. in the network version.  My attitude towards Marc was 
  20. severly hardened by personal correspondence from him sent directly 
  21. to me.  It appeared (and still appears) to me that he's decided to 
  22. make a hobby of offering antagonistic critiques of each word I utter 
  23. on the net.  Thus finally, I responded with my own analysis of his 
  24. words, done in the same manner of personal attack.  Those of you who 
  25. responded to me directly (and negatively) formed your judgement of 
  26. me without all the facts.  While I admit that I was wrong in making 
  27. my views about Marc public, and doing so in an overly harsh manner, 
  28. I maintain that the points I made were valid and would welcome any 
  29. discussion or debate on the idea that Xenix is still a very viable
  30. operating environment.
