  13. I assume you are asking for a generic capability.

  15. The Norton Utilities for System V includes this capability for INTERACTIVE,
  16. SCO and AT&T V.3.2 systems and provides a very reliable and configurable 
  17. service for recovering deleted files.  Support for other systems (V.4, Apple,
  18. IBM, HP, ...) is in limbo.

  20. LoneStar's ButtSaver provides a less reliable mechanism to recover VERY 
  21. RECENTLY deleted files on old-style (non-bitmap-freelist) file systems. 
  22. The LoneStar product is less costly but works on a wider range of platforms.
