  12. DEC 5900, Ultrix 4.2a.

  14. There seem to be three serial lines on the CPU drawer of the 5900.  Using
  15. the labels from the 5900 Owner's Manual, they're the console port,
  16. communication port 2, and keyboard/pointer port 2.
  17.  
  18. We've hooked up a vt420 to the console but how do we use the "communication
  19. port 2"?  In particular, what argument should I give to the MAKEDEV script
  20. so that I can create a device for it?

  22. The manual is woefully inadequate in telling me anything about this except
  23. the name for these ports.
