- A few days ago I saw the following output from the 'last' command on our
- DECstation:
-
- gateway ttyp0 some.other.internet.site brieflogintime
-
- The terminal in /etc/ttys is:
-
- ttyp0 none network
-
- Can someone tell me what is going on? There is no real user 'gateway', so I
- suspect this is some kind of pseudo-connection. Is it possible that someone
- actually logged in, or started a shell? If so, under what UID would it be?
- Thanks in advance for any help.
