- Well I've spent an hour going through man/manuals. The sytem manager
- has gone home, but he knows less than me about unix anyway so I'm stuck.
- I'm sitting in front of a decstation 5000/125 running ultrix 4.2 with
- a nice little exabyte attatched to it - I have a blank exabyte tape
- on the desk in front of it and I want to save some files to it. I'm
- familiar with tar at least for use with files but not tapedrives.
- So can someone please tell me how I go about initialising my tape.
- Assuming I can manage this task hwo do I go about saving files to
- it without them overwriting each other. Thankyou for your kind
- attention - I'm now off for a coffee. Can I make anyone one ?
