- I think that what you're discussing is that in Ultrix v4.2 the SCSI driver
- used a 6 byte addressing scheme (SCSI 1 standard) which only allows the driver
- to address disk partitions of 1 GB formatted data. Hence, the RZ57 (a 1.2GB
- disk raw) when formatted at 1GB is supported under Ultrix v4.2 with no problem.
- However, any disk larger than that can cause you problems and if you're not
- careful you can wrap-around and overwrite your data.

- Ultrix v4.2a uses the standard SCSI 2 addressing scheme of 10bytes. This
- means you don't have to worry about disk sizes for a couple of years ;-) .
- In any case, I'm not aware of anything that "doubles" the size of an RZ58.
