  33.   I think that what you're discussing is that in Ultrix v4.2 the SCSI driver
  34. used a 6 byte addressing scheme (SCSI 1 standard) which only allows the driver
  35. to address disk partitions of 1 GB formatted data. Hence, the RZ57 (a 1.2GB
  36. disk raw) when formatted at 1GB is supported under Ultrix v4.2 with no problem.
  37. However, any disk larger than that can cause you problems and if you're not
  38. careful you can wrap-around and overwrite your data.

  40.   Ultrix v4.2a uses the standard SCSI 2 addressing scheme of 10bytes. This 
  41. means you don't have to worry about disk sizes for a couple of years ;-) .
  42. In any case, I'm not aware of anything that "doubles" the size of an RZ58.
