- Thanks for all the info received so far. I must admit though that our machine
- still refuses to route anything between its interfaces. The -q option has been
- removed on routed, but this made no difference. The situation is still that
- not even a ping will pass through. Traceroute shows that the external machines
- try to deliver through our DECstation, so presumably routed is doing its job,
- the packets just dont go through. Similarly the PCs on the interior net send
- their pings to the proper interface, as that is their default gateway, but no
- packets are seen on the outside net. Sigh!
