  12. We are trying to setup a UUCP link from us (on the internet) to another site
  13. (not).  They have a real IP address and name and whatnot; not a subset of
  14. ours.  So, we would like to have any of their mail (say fred@a.b) reroute
  15. through the machine which handles the UUCP (say c.d).  Right now, I can send
  16. mail to fred%e.uucp@c.d and get it there (e is the UUCP name we refer to them
  17. by, not their internet name).  We'd like to be able to send mail,
  18. from c.d, by addressing it to fred@a.b and having sendmail on c.d reroute it
  19. to the uucp address.

  21. Once that is done, we'd probably install an MX record for our site and try it
  22. from other machines on the site (reroute to c.d).  Then we'd let some top
  23. level nameserver know that for a.b, they have to send it to c.d
  24.  
  25. Are we doing this correctly?  Are we even in the ballpark?
