- We are trying to setup a UUCP link from us (on the internet) to another site
- (not). They have a real IP address and name and whatnot; not a subset of
- ours. So, we would like to have any of their mail (say fred@a.b) reroute
- through the machine which handles the UUCP (say c.d). Right now, I can send
- mail to fred%e.uucp@c.d and get it there (e is the UUCP name we refer to them
- by, not their internet name). We'd like to be able to send mail,
- from c.d, by addressing it to fred@a.b and having sendmail on c.d reroute it
- to the uucp address.
-
- Once that is done, we'd probably install an MX record for our site and try it
- from other machines on the site (reroute to c.d). Then we'd let some top
- level nameserver know that for a.b, they have to send it to c.d
-
- Are we doing this correctly? Are we even in the ballpark?
