- I posted a question a day ago about swap space.
- I provided a wrong info at that time.
- So I post it again with correction.
-
- We have a DecStation 5000/200 with Dec rz56 drive and 32Mb memory
- runnig Ultrix 4.2a and Xwst3d server.
-
- ****The problem **** is that the X server dies when a large process(about 40 Mb
- Lucid Common lisp process) is run, even though we have a tons of swapping
- space(145 Mb). We have two swapping areas in partition b and d of rz0.
- Swapping does not seem ocurring properly.
- The following is the disk partion info about our DEC rz56 drive.
-
-
- Anyone out there has any idea of what is going on here ?
- If more info. about our system necceaary for your judging, please ask
- for me.
- Thank you.
