- Was wondering if anyone else was having LOTS of problems with DECwrite
- version 2.0? I'm running it on a DS5000/200 PX. DECwrite will core dump on:
-
- startup,
- while using the pulldown menues
- printing
-
- Then again, other times it seems to work just fine. Its getting to the
- point where I can't do any 'real' work in it because it may crash at
- anytime...
-
- It may be releated to memory mgmt problems, as the more windows I have
- open the more it tends to fail. System is confg'd with 24 meg of
- memory, 400+meg of swap (wanted to make SURE it wasn't swap :), and
- about 2 gig of disk space... I can't imagine the machine doesn't have
- enough resources.
