- OK, nostalgia buffs, how about this:
-
- We recently installed ULTRIX 4.1 on 3 of our old VAXstation 3100's here.
- (Don't laugh, they were running 3.0 :-). We also installed the mandatory
- upgrade (4.1.1, I think), and most everything is peachy. However, the
- dxpsview program is failing with the following message:
-
- X Toolkit Error: Server does not have PostScript extension.
-
- This happens whenever one tries to open the postscript file for display.
-
- The odd thing is that it works fine on another VAXstation 3100 running
- 4.1 (without the mandatory upgrade, BTW). I can't seem to figure out
- what it is that I've missed. I've compared the setld -i output from
- the system that works with the system that doesn't, and they both appear
- to be in sync as far as installed subsets (again, except for the fact that
- the one that works does *not* have the mandatory upgrade).
-
- Any ideas, oh most helpful ones?
