  16. Sounds like one of your files in /etc/rc[23].d/S* doesn't exit correctly.
  17. I had exactly(!) this problem once when a process in /etc/rc2.d/S39lp
  18. hung in the foreground instead of the background.

  20. Specifically - when I attempt to do an Equinox +lp on a port where the
  21. printer is turned off - it hangs waiting to open the port and the system
  22. appears locked up.  I would double-check each and every Snn* job and
  23. make sure you didn't change anything there.
