- I'm not so sure about this. When I ran the stock drivers, the
- load average on my box was very low. With FAS-2.10 (as with the
- previous versions), the load average rises to 0.5 minimum when
- the first modem is in use. With two modems in use, the load
- average rises to about 0.7 or 0.8. When both modems become idle,
- the load average drops back to normal (below 0.1).
