  27. Now I have increased some kernel parameters and compiled tyhe ddx-part
  28. with -g (and no -O) flag and linked the server with -g. 
  29.  
  30. Now the server starts AND WORKS !
  31. My conclusion is that the problem is related to the USL stock cc compiler
  32. with -O compiling the X386-1.2E ddx code.

  34. Are there any known bugs with the USL cc ?
  35. Is there any site from where one can get the gcc binaries for SVR4 ?
