- Config: 16MHz 386, 8M RAM, Adaptec 1542B, Seagate 41650N, Archive 2525S
-
- The Seagate is on SCSI id 0, the Archive is on id 4.
-
- I did the kconfig configure HPDD, putting the disk and tape in and rebuilt
- the kernel. After rebooting, I was able to use "mt" to "rewind" and "erase" a
- tape, just fine. When I did "dd bs=100k if=/dev/rdsk/0s1 of=/dev/tape", I got
- an I/O error, then the system crashed with the SCSI select light on. There
- were no panic messages on the console, but when I reset, the system came up
- wanting to preserve a crash dump.
-
- Does the ISC 3.0 release just not know how to deal with the 2525S yet, or what?
