- While its not technically unix since it was written from scratch, Linux
- supports X, and will compile most source written for BSD (they are still
- working on the libraries some).
- TCP/IP just came out and currently supports Western Digital and compatible
- cards. Gcc and GCC++ also come with it.

- Now for the best part it costs $0 and can be FTP'd from tsx-11.mit.edu
- although I would suggest reading comp.os.linux for a while first.
