  23. Did you forget re-running 'evgainit' after building a new kernel?

  25. Check if 'evgaqry -verbose'  (in /usr/sbin)  gives the correct
  26. Trident card answer.

  28. You can also try a different Trident card or different card with a 
  29. Trident chipset. Also, to my knowledge ESIX has an updated X server
  30. available on their BBS.
