- I've been "wrasslin'" with this software since I got it, and
- thanks to people here, have it running...but without full functionality.
-
- I fixed the problems listed in the bugs FAQ...at least the ones
- in /etc/conf/pack.d/kernel/space.c and vm.o. That allowed me
- **finally** to get ttymon working with a hardwire terminal. (uugetty
- has always worked, but I thought I'd try to "move up" to SVR4 stuff
- since I paid big $$$ for it). Unfortunately, I still can't get
- modems to work (USR HST's or TB's). Get a *reproducible* string
- of garbage, or sometimes the prompt, but can never type anything
- and log in. It seems that /etc/ttydefs, as shipped, is crap.
- Things like "parenb" on the same line with "ignpar" and that sort of
- thing. To get to the point...if anyone out there can tell me what
- to do to ttydefs or anything else to get ESIX 4.0.4 ttymon working
- with a modem for uucp, I'd be MOST grateful. Thanks.
