- I agree. In addition CD-ROM drives are expensive, i.e. the real supported
- things like SCSI CD-ROMs, at least here in Europe. They are still about
- $600+ even with heavy discounts. There are some special offers now
- (Microsoft - mainly to promote Win/NT - and Toshiba). I guess,
- when Solaris 2.0 will be ready for mass-shipment sometimes next year
- SunSoft (or whatever they will call Interactive then) will have to offer a
- CD-ROM drive with the first release for a special price. Otherwise, ... ?
