- Hello netland!
-
- For all of you runing SCO OpenDesktop 2.0, just to let you know that
- and end to your serial problems is in sight! FAS 2.10 fixed all the problems
- I was having with my serial lines. the sio driver was loosing lots of
- characters at speeds > 19200, even with a 16550AFN. FAS sorted all that
- out, as with flow control. Z-Modem now works like a dream, as does ECU.
-
- If you are a Pro-YAM user on SCO, and want to get flow control working,
- put the following in your phones.t file:
- z pf8192
- handshake cts
-
- After this, YAM works just fine on upload. Oh, and I have experienced
- no problems with FAS and DOS-Merge. I *always* use the direct device
- when I need to do comms under Merge, and in this mode, everything works
- fine, including YAM-PC.
-
- Thanks to Uwe for FAS. It turned my comms nightmare into a dream.
