  14. For all of you runing SCO OpenDesktop 2.0, just to let you know that
  15. and end to your serial problems is in sight! FAS 2.10 fixed all the problems
  16. I was having with my serial lines. the sio driver was loosing lots of
  17. characters at speeds > 19200, even with a 16550AFN. FAS sorted all that
  18. out, as with flow control. Z-Modem now works like a dream, as does ECU.

  20. If you are a Pro-YAM user on SCO, and want to get flow control working,
  21. put the following in your phones.t file:
  22. z pf8192
  23. handshake cts

  25. After this, YAM works just fine on upload. Oh, and I have experienced
  26. no problems with FAS and DOS-Merge. I *always* use the direct device
  27. when I need to do comms under Merge, and in this mode, everything works
  28. fine, including YAM-PC.
