- prt7u@holmes.acc.Virginia.EDU (Peter R. Thorsen Jr.) asks:
- ! I just compiled tcsh-6.02 and was wondering if there were any
- ! known bugs and if so what they are for this particular version.
- !
- ! It would really help a lot and save me a lot of time testing
- ! everything.
-
- You didn't tell which systems you're working with, but judging by your
- address, I take it that IBM RS-6000/AIX is one goot bet. I know there
- were problems getting 6.00 and possibly 6.01 up under AIX, but as for 6.02
- I've used it under AIX 3.? myself, and everything seems fine to me.
-
- Of general misfeatures in tcsh 6.02, I know of only one which has to do
- with bindkey -c, commands (programs) run as an effect of such a key
- binding will be exposed to the tty options which tcsh uses internally,
- i.e. cbreak mode (-icanon), etc.
