  18. I hit "nn" today, like I do most days, and scan through my listed 
  19. newsgroups.  Today, I find no less than half the posts to 
  20. comp.unix.shell not talking about shell programming, but instead, 
  21. people's posts being flamed OVER and OVER again on the same 
  22. points, the same grounds, without change, without meaningful discussion.

  24. Yes, luckily, I can now kill all the messages related to this.  But I 
  25. must admit I think it's rather sad that a forum that was set up 
  26. specifically for the purpose of discussing shell programming is
  27. overrun by zealots who can only focus on non-shell issues.
