  14. I installed bash on our SIEMENS MX500 (operating system: SINIX - X/OPEN and
  15.  partially SYSV R3 compatible). bash works well, but there is an error in
  16. readline. When I'm editing a line and go to left (with "cursor left") and
  17. then delete a char (with "rubout") some characters at the end of the line
  18. will dissapear and a string like "^`^`^`^`^`^`" appears. Then undo doesn't
  19. work. Do You have any idea?
