- I'm sure this question has been asked before, but here it is again from a novice beginner Unix
- user.
-
- I've experimented with editing my .login file to change the apperance of my command prompt.
- What is the syntax to cause the prompt to display the current directory name? Yes, I know this
- sounds a lot like DOS but it's still useful.
-
- Thanks in advance for any help on this subject.
