  11. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but here it is again from a novice beginner Unix

  14. I've experimented with editing my .login file to change the apperance of my command prompt.
  15. What is the syntax to cause the prompt to display the current directory name?  Yes, I know this
  16. sounds a lot like DOS but it's still useful.
