- One user on our SGI systems is given a job priority of 24 for all
- jobs submitted. The default for every other user is 20. We cannot
- find any reason for this, nor can we seem to change it. Does anyone
- know why this might be happening?
- There are no nice or renice commands in the users .cshrc or .profile
- files. The user uses th Bourne shell. There are no priorities set
- in the passwd file (like prio=#) for this user or any user on the
- system. After submitting a job the user typically changes the priority
- to 20 by logging in as root. This is not an ideal solution. Any
- suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
