- Hi:
-
- I am having following problem with transfering files from a Sparc-2 to
- 486-Interactive unix PC.
-
- I have a colorado systems tape drive on 486-Interactive unix PC. Which
- ccording to the Colorado Systems people can read QIC-150, QIC-113, and
- QIC-130 formats of the tape. The Sparc has tape drive with QIC-150 format.
- I am trying to transfer some files from Sparc to PC (no ethernet). The
- PC tape drive is not able to read the QIC-150 tape. By default the PC
- tape drive is QIC-113. My question is is there any way I can format the
- tape on Sparc and tar the files in QIC -113 format so that i can read
- he tape on PC.
-
-
- Thanks in advance
