- I sure hope this is the right group to ask stupid questions about UNIX on,
- because here comes a stupid question about UNIX, and more specifically,
- postnews.
-
- Now, before you wonder 'Has this guy checked "man postnews"?' yes, I have
- checked 'man postnews'. It didn't help my situation at all. Basically, the
- problem is this. The man pages for postnews say that once I've entered the
- group(s) to post to, and the Subject: line, it will drop me into my editor
- of choice, which I have every reason to believe is vi (trn invokes it, whenever
- I follow-up to a message through it). But postnews puts me into some editor-
- from-hell which I have never seen before, and I have no idea how to use it
- (ok, so I'm no UNIX genius...).
-
- If anyone has the answer to my quandry, could you please mail me the answer?
- Thanks in advance!
