  11. Pardon my ignorance please, but could you or anyone offer
  12. me a small bit of assistance?

  14. If I were to write a program using RPCs, could I write a
  15. client program that would cooperate with an ftp server
  16. process on a remote machine?

  18. Your help is appreciated greatly.  If you know of any 
  19. books or other resources that might help me in this
  20. venture, please tell me.
