- We are looking for a "complete" fax solution for Unix and for our Novell
- netware server which runs on our HP 9000/827s server. We have
- experimented with the TruFax product from Devcom and that meets our Unix
- needs but not our DOS/Windows/Novell needs. It may very well be that
- the product we are looking for does not exist, but here is what we need:
-
- 1. The ability to format and fax raw ASCII files which are automatically
- extracted from a large database.
-
- 2. The ability to quickly fax a note from Unix.
-
- 3. The ability to fax from WordPerfect for DOS on a Novell Netware using
- either a pop-up utility or embedded codes in the output to direct the
- fax.
-
- I am wondering if we should be looking at a Novell based product which
- uses Novell print queues since those are the same queues that lp will
- use on our system. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
