- The correct settings for the AIX video 8 are:

- mode yes Use DEVICE BUFFERS during writes
- block_size 0 BLOCK size (0=variable length)
- extfm no Use EXTENDED file marks

- This output is give by lsattr -E -lrmt0
- I *KNOW* this works for a standard Exabyte on a Sun (90m tape - no compression).
