- I'm posting this question for my roommate.
-
- He has installed X386 on his 386BSD system. Created the configuration
- file.
-
- When he tries to start X, he gets a message CONNOT OPEN /dev/vga!
-
- What is this device, is it just a renamed console or what. If its
- a special device driver where is the source code?
-
- Also, are there any good install intructions or does one go for broke or
- did he just miss them?
-
- Please just post to the net as he does have RN access.
-
- thanks
- B lile
