  13. I'm posting this question for my roommate.

  15. He has installed X386 on his 386BSD system.   Created the configuration
  16. file.
  17.  
  18. When he tries to start X, he gets a message CONNOT OPEN /dev/vga!  
  19.  
  20. What is this device, is it just a renamed console or what.  If its 
  21. a special device driver where is the source code?
  22.  
  23. Also, are there any good install intructions or does one go for broke or
  24. did he just miss them?
