  14. I have access to a distribution host via NFS. On this host there
  15. is the full distribution (bindist, srcdist, etcdist, etc.) and another
  16. tree with the sources unpacked. Now, I copied all the sources to my local
  17. harddisk because it's faster due to the slow link used by NFS.
  18. However, the file gas/as.1 is empty !
  19. I checked the srcdist on this server by the famous
  20. cat src??.?? | uncompress | cpio -itv usr/src/usr.bin/gas/as.1
  21. commandline and the result was:
  22. 100444 root        0  Mar  3 09:28:09 1991  usr/src/usr.bin/gas/as.1
  23. meaning that this file is really empty in the srcdist set of files.

  25. Did anybody else discover this problem or is it just this server ?

  27. I would like to get a complete distribution, so, if somebody can mail
  28. this file to me, I will be happy.
